Last week, I was walking my dog when a homeless guy stopped me. Often times, I ignore incidents like these and just keep walking, but this time I opted for a polite conversation. The streets were filled with people, and I was feeling pretty safe with the leash of my dog in one hand, and the maze in the other. I warned him that I did not have a single penny on me, but he didn’t care. The man, maybe 40 years old, began to sing an old R&B song that sadly I did not recognize. He didn’t sound too bad! Even rapped a little bit. I noticed at least two business guys who watched the spectacle as they walked past us, and kept turning around, out of concern to make sure I was okay. The man completed his song and told me that if I ever walk around with a recording machine, he’ll record the song for me. “I’ve always wanted to go into music,” he exclaimed enthusiastically before he said his goodbyes and continued his way.
He clearly needed money. Or a nice meal. But sometimes, you just need a listener to your daily problems, or an audience for your art. So I thank you guys for checking out my blog.
Here is lovely Miss D. The wooden set that she posed on is actually part of someone else’s art project. I thought it might make a nice set. We call it “the monster”. Today, parts of that monster have been made into a cool table J

Ladies In Flesh And Blood… Or Not?
The more I continue my photography and film professions, the more appreciative I really am of different mind and body types (especially because I have been slacking on my running routine, but June will change that!). May has been a busy month! I know you guys have been yearning for some people portraits and boudoirs, so here’s some eye candy for your enjoyment. Meet sassy Miss N.! Isn’t she just lovely?
More to come! Many more, my friends….
But in the meantime, here’s a little update on my doll project. I did another photoshoot to experiment with posing the lovelies, while making more costumes, props and sets for their story. Here’s the result. I’ll have to work on their joints some more to increase their mobility. I have also added third doll to the collection, whose various body parts are currently being assembled. You’ll meet her next time. My cast for my story is almost complete… I’m excited to start this project full steam. Until then, here are some regular photos of them for you to enjoy. Outfits made by me.
Had to try the boudoir-ish shot with Charm.
As usual, thanks for tuning in!

Prince of Persia
Hmmmm…
Double hmmmmmm…
I did it again. :)
Filled in again for my friend’s entertainment section of her TV show. This time at least, I got to be surrounded by a few A-listers, and although it was freezing cold and rained a little bit, I thoroughly enjoyed breathing the same air as Sir Ben Kingsley and intelligent and hot Jake Gyllenhaal at the premiere of “Prince of Persia”. This film will open May 28th, and I think it’ll be quite entertaining.
The American Film Institute, which is the school I just graduated from with a degree in directing, was co-sponsoring this event in honor of this year’s AFI poster boy and legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer. I actually saw a bunch of my teachers, who looked at me all perplexed, surprised and happy to see me working. Very funny.
Here I am, this time wearing one of my favorite jackets. I should make something similar for my dolls.
“Reporting live from Hollywood’s red carpet is Nadine Truong. Boy, am I excited about this evening’s guests.” Bla bla bla bla….
“Oh wait! I messed up the line again? I think it’s just cuz that hunk Jake is making me nervous. Ha. Yes, cue nervous laughter. I mean, look at that poster behind me!”

Ok, I apologize in advance for the sometimes less than flattering pictures of the following individuals. I took the pics myself this time, and sometimes it’s just tough holding a big ole camera in one hand and an oversized microphone in the other while interviewing.
Seth Green, my favorite family guy.

Jon Voight, how is your daughter doing these days?

Jerry Bruckheimer, will you give me a job?

Sir Ben Kingsley, I bow down to you. I asked him about any last thoughts before heading into the premiere and he said “You look cold.”

Jake Gyllenhaal, for you….I have no words…

Also sighted were Tom Cruise, Tia Carrere, Kelly McGillis and co. Basically a lot of the Bruckheimer veterans. I wasn’t ninja enough to snap good pictures of them…
Have a good day!
